The Buffy Turkish cotton towels feel as if you strung a bunch of cotton balls to make one towel–so plush! You can definitely feel the thickness of the terry cloth.
I also love the lavender color, it is bright and welcoming and goes really well with my peach and navy tiled bathroom.
How’s their absorbency? The loops of the terry cloth are densely packed, giving the towel this extra plush feel. If a teddy bear turned into a towel then this is what the Buffy towel feels like. It is also incredibly absorbent. I don’t have to rub to get the water off, just wrap and go.
There’s also no wear yet. They do feel softer after every wash. I am a big fan of Clean Cult laundry detergent sheets and they only make the towels softer.
How quickly do the towels dry off? Given how thick it is, it dries surprisingly quickly. I am returning to a towel that feels like a wet rag (and I have hooks, too!). Wouldn’t change anything, but do wish that Buffy also made hand towels and face towels. The set comes with two towels, and originally I was going to give one to my husband but now that I tried these, I am just cycling them out. One in the wash, the other on the hook, and so on. He will have to get his own towels.

How do they feel and look? This “Tam” bath sheet is really attractive. I’ve really only ever used solid color towels, but to give my bathroom more visual interest, I thought I’d opt for something a little more playful against my terra-cotta, sunset-inspired shower curtain. This checkered pattern is a blend of warm clay, chocolate, and cream hues that makes a statement while serving as the perfect complement to my bathroom. It’s crafted from 100% GOTS-certified, organic Portuguese cotton that feels plush yet structured. The weight makes it great for folding and I haven’t seen any evidence of fraying or threading. It’s also nice to know that I’m using a bathroom essential that’s free of harsh chemicals and dyes.
